The Play That Goes Wrong at Teatro Amaya

The Play That Goes Wrong brings its slapstick theatrical mayhem to Teatro Amaya in Madrid on November 22, 2026. Part of the city's Theatre scene and listed under Musical / play, the production is built around a simple, chaotic premise: an amateur company attempts to stage a murder mystery while mishaps derail the performance.

Created by the British comedy group Mischief, the show began in London and became known for its deliberately elaborate physical comedy, collapsing scenery, missed cues, and escalating onstage disasters. Its popularity has led to productions for audiences around the world. The humor relies on precise timing and carefully choreographed accidents, turning theatrical mistakes into the main attraction. Check the event listing at ticketsmadrid.net for current performance and ticket details.

Prices currently start around $40, with availability and final prices varying by seat and demand. Teatro Amaya's location in Madrid makes the performance a convenient option to pair with an evening in the city; allow time to reach the venue and find your seats before the curtain.
